Get Ready for School FALL 2011 - FORCE - After-School Enrichment Classes - Registeration is now open! Classes at Gillette School: "Cheers, Long Hill!" ; Aviation & Magic Combo; Mad Science, Pottery and Tae Kwon Do Classes at Millington School: "Cheers, Long Hill!"; Aviation, Magic, Mad Science, Pottery, Tae Kwon Do, Yoga, FORCE Chorus, Homework Club, Classes at Central School: "Cheers, Long Hill!", Yoga, Junior CSI Foresnic Science and Extra Art Classes at Central School: 2 Day Babysitting Training with the American Red CrossCentral School FORCE will be sponsoring the America Red Cross Babysitter's Training Course. This is a fun and fast-paced course with hands-on activities, role-playing and discussions. Participants will learn how to make smart decisions and stay safe in any babysitting situation. The course is designed for students in grades 6th through 8, providing knowledge in caring for infants through school-age children. The course includes performing basic child-care skills such as diapering and feeding, choosing sfae, age-appropriate games and toys, handling bedtime and discipline issues, identifying safety hazards and preventing injuries, caring for common injuries such as choking, burns, cuts and bee stings, communicating efefctively with parents and finding and interviewing for babysitting jobs. The course will be held on September 20th and September 22nd from 2:55 p.m. until 6:15 (you must attend both days) The registration fee is $85.00 and includes the class and all materials.
