In this fun and engaging class, children will learn about kindness, compassion, empathy, and friendship. Through stories, discussions, games, crafts, and hands-on kindness activities, students will discover how small acts of kindness can make a big difference in their school, home, and community. Our goal is to help children build caring hearts, positive relationships, and confidence in spreading kindness every day.

PE Greatest Hits with Ms. Dambrot & Mr. Manto - K-1 - $105

Get ready to move, play, and have fun! In PE Greatest Hits, students will enjoy a collection of the most-loved PE games and activities. From kickball and tag games to relay races, 4 Corners, obstacle courses, and more, every class is packed with action, teamwork, and laughter. Children will build confidence, practice sportsmanship, stay active, and make new friends while playing classic games that never go out of style. Join us for an exciting adventure filled with movement, smiles, and all the greatest hits of PE!

 

Stories in Motion with Mrs. Wycko - Preschool only - $100

Each class will focus around one interactive story and will include a craft, song, movement activity, and more!

Tumbling, Fitness and Gymnastics with Travelin' Tumblers - Pre-k to 1st - $110

Gymnastics: Help children build a strong foundation for physical activity! Through dynamic circuit training, skill-building drills, fun games, and attentive instruction, students take structured steps toward mastering new gymnastics abilities. Our supportive environment is designed to foster self-confidence while building the strength, flexibility, and coordination that benefit all sports.

Books, Cooks and More with Mrs. Kmetz – Grades 2-5 - $160

Each Tuesday, students who join Books, Cooks and More will meet, learn, cook, bake, taste and craft. Students will embark on a delightful culinary adventure with our Club, where young chefs-to-be can learn the art of chopping, slicing, baking, and cooking simple yet scrumptious recipes like pancakes, muffins and more!  Each meeting will have a literary connection to what we are stirring up. The weekly book and craft will tie in to what we are making, baking and/or tasting.

Under the guidance of Ms. Kmetz, children will explore the joys of the kitchen in a safe and engaging environment. From mastering basic culinary skills to creating delectable treats, this class is designed to ignite a love for cooking and instill valuable life skills in our budding chefs. Join us for a hands-on experience that blends fun and learning, as we stir up a recipe for lifelong culinary enjoyment!

Floor is Lava with Mrs. Lee & Mrs. Meleika – Grades 2-5 - $115

Description: Floor is Lava is a game where players must imagine the floor is molten hot lava. The players must complete the obstacle course with their team to cross to the other side. The Floor is Lava! is a family game that promotes physical activity, an active imagination, and engaging excitement for kids and adults.This game gets children jumping, leaping, playing, and improving their strength, conditioning, balance, and endurance! It also allows students to work on team building and problem solving. Each week there will be a different obstacle course & game.

 

Lego Lab with Miss Cursi & Mrs. Fischer - Grades 2-3 - $115

Do you love to build, create, and imagine? Join Lego Lab, where students use Lego bricks and other materials to bring their ideas to life! Each session features a unique theme with weekly activities. It’s a fun, hands-on way to develop creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork all while having a blast! No experience needed, just bring your imagination!

 

Spectacular Scrapbooking with Mrs. Spinello & Mrs. Minerva – Grades 2-5 - $135

Turn your favorite photos into a Spectacular Scrapbook!

Join us after school to unleash your creativity and build a personalized book of memories to treasure forever. You can keep your scrapbook or give it as a gift for a special occasion. Learn cool design techniques using colorful washi tape, fun shape punches, vibrant stickers, patterned papers, and so much more. Chess Club with Mrs. Cancellieri – Grades 2-5 - $120

Chess Club is perfect for beginners or students who already know how to play the game. Students will learn the basics of chess, build their skills, and enjoy playing with their peers. Chess is a fun way to strengthen logic, problem solving, strategy, concentration, and memory skills. Come make your move and join the fun!

 

Game Show Club with Mrs. Kmetz - Grades 2-5 - $120

Survey says… this club is going to be a blast! Step into the spotlight and experience the excitement of your favorite TV game shows! Each week, students will become contestants, team players, and game show champions as they compete in fun, fast-paced challenges.

Students will play a different game show every week, including Family Feud, Jeopardy, The Price Is Right, Wheel of Fortune, $100,000 Pyramid, and Card Sharks. They will test their knowledge, solve puzzles, make predictions, think creatively, and work together to earn points and prizes.

With teamwork, friendly competition, laughter, and plenty of surprises, this club will feel like a real game show experience. Will your team become the ultimate Game Show Champions? Come join the fun and find out!

 

ROBLOX with Mr. Nestler - Grades 2-5 - $110

Join friends in a wide variety of Roblox games. Each week we will highlight student chosen games. Students are encouraged to explore new activities, make friends and talk with other ROBLOX enthusiasts. This is a BRING YOUR OWN DEVICE class. Students must have a device of their own on which to play.

 

Slimeology with Miss Cursi & Mrs. Tremarco - Grades 2-3 - $130

Does your child LOVE slime? If so, this is the perfect class for them! Students will make a different type of slime each week using a unique set of ingredients to go with the theme for the week. Children will be able to bring home their slime creations!

 

Volleyball with Mrs. Meleika - Grades 2-5 - $115

Join us for six weeks of volleyball fun! This class is designed for students in grades 2-5 to learn and practice basic volleyball skills through engaging drills, games, and team activities. Players of all experience levels are welcome! Our focus will be on having fun, building confidence, working together, and being a supportive teammate.

Students will learn how to be caring friends, build positive relationships, and become Kindness Champions who help make the world a happier place, one kind act at a time!

 

Lisbona Sports & Fitness with Mr. Lisbona - Grades 2-5 - $115

This class will consist of a variety of different sports.  The first half of class will be 30 minutes of Dodgeball, followed by other activities like Volleyball, Soccer, Cooperative Games, Handball and more... Outdoor Adventures with Ms. Butler & Mr. Nestler - Grades 2-5 - $115

In this class, students will explore the bountiful garden located at Millington school and the grounds which surround it. They will learn about different types of plants, wild animals and they will plant and harvest crops. Students will also learn about outdoor skills like using maps, compasses, identifying landmarks, and general navigation. Through participating in this class, students will learn the science behind their natural world which will draw them closer to their natural surroundings. They will learn skills that can be used on a daily basis as they learn about conservation, sustainability and proper care of our environment.

Unusual Jobs Club with Mrs. Kmetz – Grades 2-5 - $120

Unusual Jobs Club is a fun, six-week after-school enrichment program that introduces students to exciting and lesser-known careers from around the world. Each week, students will explore a different unusual job—such as a Chocolate Taster, Food Scientist, LEGO® Master Builder, Toy Inventor, Zookeeper, Movie Special Effects Artist, Video Game Designer, or Roller Coaster Engineer—through engaging discussions, hands-on activities, creative projects, games, and challenges.

Students will learn about the skills, education, and responsibilities associated with each career while developing creativity, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. Some sessions will include food tastings related to the featured career. For example, during our Chocolate Taster week, students will sample different types of chocolate, and during our Food Scientist week, students will taste and investigate a variety of foods while conducting fun science experiments and sensory activities.

Food Allergy Notice: Because food will be used during both the Chocolate Taster and Food Scientist sessions, please let Mrs. Kmetz know before the club begins if your child has any food allergies or dietary restrictions. She will work with families to provide appropriate alternatives or ask that a comparable item be sent from home so every student can safely participate in the activities.

 

Pet Pal Physicians with Future Scientists and Physicians - Grades 2-5 - $140

An exciting, hands-on veterinary adventure where every child becomes a veterinarian and cares for their very own plush puppy!
Every child steps into the role of a Junior Veterinarian. Wearing their lab coat and using their very own stethoscope, they will examine their plush puppy patient, investigate health concerns, and discover  how veterinarians help animals stay healthy and happy.
The best part? Every child receives their very own plush puppy FREE! Their puppy becomes their special patient and a lovable companion they can take home after the adventure.
